Director of Nursing
The full-time nurse who is directly responsible for supervising the nursing staff. The Director of Nursing in all nursing homes licensed for “skilled’ nursing care, and in all other nursing homes in the Medicaid program that do not have a waiver from the Department of Public Health, must be a registered nurse.
